Rate Range: $80-$90/Hr
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Oracle GoldenGate Developer to design, implement, and maintain data replication solutions using Oracle GoldenGate. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GoldenGate architecture, real-time data replication strategies, performance tuning, and high availability across heterogeneous systems. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, availability, and synchronization across mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop real-time and batch data replication solutions using Oracle GoldenGate. Install, configure, and upgrade GoldenGate software across various environments. Develop and maintain GoldenGate parameter/configuration files for replication processes. Perform data replication between Oracle and non-Oracle databases (heterogeneous replication). Implement and manage unidirectional and bidirectional data replication. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize replication lag and performance issues. Collaborate with DBAs, data architects, and application developers to design and support replication strategies. Document replication designs, configurations, and procedures. Ensure data consistency, failover strategies, and disaster recovery using GoldenGate. Participate in change management and deployment of GoldenGate solutions in production. Ensure GoldenGate environments meet security, compliance, and auditing requirements. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 3-7 years of experience working with Oracle GoldenGate in enterprise environments. Strong experience with Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c) and SQL/PLSQL. Experience with heterogeneous replication (e.g., Oracle to MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with Oracle Data Guard, RAC, ASM, and high availability architectures. Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting GoldenGate processes. Understanding of data modeling and relational database principles. Proficient with Linux/Unix shell scripting for automation and monitoring
