Job Description
Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Transportation Drainage Engineer to their Naperville Team!
Responsibilities:
Assist with completion of engineering plans, specifications, and drainage engineering studies Develop hydrologic/hydraulic models of municipal storm sewer/sanitary collection systems Analyze /design stormwater facilities and proposed improvement projects Complete drainage portion of engineering plans, specifications and cost estimate production using IDOT Standards Complete IDOT Hydraulic Reports, Location Drainage Studies and other drainage studies Communicate with clients/regulatory agencies Requirements:
B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering 4+ years of experience PE License or ability to obtain within one year of employment Roadway/infrastructure design experience using IDOT Standards preferred Experience preparing IDOT Hydraulic Reports and Phase 1 drainage studies Experience preparing permits related to drainage design, floodplain/floodway, and wetland impacts (including U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 and IDNR-OWR Floodway Construction permits) Ability to travel with own transportation Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, CivilStorm, StormCAD and HY-8 preferred Experience using Microstation/Geopak preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience.
