JOB DESCRIPTION : Independently provide complex and multiple levels of technical support and technical expertise in design functions with minimal supervision. Collaborate with management to act as technical lead as needed for medium to complex efforts. Write and test application code for complex business systems. Develop web applications, client/server applications, services and APIs. Develop database procedures, functions, and other objects. Design database tables and views. Ensure that applications are secure, acceptably defect-free and fully compliant with the design. Perform comprehensive unit testing. Responsible for the design of complex systems and enhancements to meet specific requirements. Coordinate with team members to develop and refine requirements. Translate requirements into a technical architecture. Develop functional designs and specifications. Coordinate and communicate design specifications. Coordinate with information technology department and user community to successfully implement, maintain, support, and administer systems. Responsible for resolving, tracking and documenting help desk and user issues. Evaluate and recommend technical solutions. Manage application environments. Actively participate in the quality assurance process. Support quality assurance analysts with development and execution of test plans. Ensure requirements are documented sufficiently for testing needs. Responsible for timely resolution of defects. Assist with the development of application lifecycle management processes, standards and guidelines. Ensure appropriate and complete documentation and training materials. Manage application source control. Provide guidance and mentoring to development staff.

REQUIREMENTS : Must possess a Bachelor's degree or a foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical field and 5 years of experience in the job offered, Software Developer, Software Engineer or related. Must have experience with the following: (i) .NET Framework; .NET Core; C#/Visual Basic .NET; Web Services, RESTful APIs, XML, JSON; ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core; HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery; SQL Server, T-SQL; Unit Testing; (ii) Strong understanding of n-tier architecture concepts; (iii) Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts; (iv) report-writing tools; (v) windows desktop and server operating systems, including IIS; and (vi) Team Foundation Server (Azure DevOps Server).

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS : The anticipated starting salary for this position is $148,949 to $153,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on a candidate's relevant experience, skills, training, certifications/licenses, qualifications and geographical location.
