SUMMARY This is professional, analytical and technical work involving application development and quality assurance. An employee in a position allocated to this class is responsible for designing, coding and supporting PHP applications in a LAMP environment, as well as participating in the planning, analysis, design, testing, and implementation phases of systems development and/or software procurement. This position reports to the Court Chief Information Officer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Develops business models to support decisions on building or buying new information systems solutions Supports the building and/or implementation of new information systems Performs Business Systems Analysis, Business System Design and/or Business Systems implementation Develops systems using Court Administration's current programming languages and database systems Performs Unit testing Writes technical reports and manuals Prioritizes functionality and develops test cases Develops functional specifications Performs functional testing Performs related work as required The omission of specific statements does not preclude management from assigning specific duties not listed herein if such duties are a logical assignment to the position. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or closely related field; one (1) year of experience.
One year professional experience coding in PHP in an object-oriented environment.
Relevant experience and/or education may substitute for the recommended minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: PHP web application development Model View Connector ("MVC") Frameworks Bootstrap HTML5 GIT SQL Laravel Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, React, datatables UNIX/Linux Ability to plan and prioritize tasks as directed. Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely both orally and inwriting. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
