Database Administrator

. The ideal candidate will support server, storage, and database migration while ensuring solutions align with IT standards and best practices.
Rate Range:
$45/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Database Administrator job responsibilities include:
Install, configure, and maintain database systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. Monitor database performance and proactively address issues such as slow queries, storage capacity, and system errors. Implement backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data and ensure business continuity. Manage user access and permissions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with security policies. Support database migration and upgrade activities, including patching and version control. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database design and support application performance. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4-6 years of experience in database administration and support. Proven experience with database migration, backup/recovery, and performance tuning. Pay Details:
$45.00 to $60.00 per hour
