WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Join a team that focuses on the ad-serving and budgeting pipeline of our infrastructure. The team ensures our fleet of ad servers, click-tracking servers, and budgeting and validation applications remain fast, agile, and feature-rich. We’re seeking an experienced, growth-oriented engineer with high emotional intelligence and a willingness to learn from and share knowledge with teammates.

YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

At least 4 years of software development experience Areas of expertise within Elixir and Phoenix Redis or other NoSQL solutions Experience working on distributed systems Experience with one or more message queueing systems such as AMQP or Apache Kafka Experience with CI and CD, we use GitHub Actions Experience with Docker Relational Databases and SQL OTHER TOOLS IN YOUR BELT:

None of these are requirements. We understand folks with different backgrounds aren't necessarily going to have experience with all or even most of our stack. This will give you an idea of what kind of technology you will be working with if you join us.

Ruby, Python, or Go experience Node js Experience with a web MVC framework such as Phoenix, Rails, etc. HTML, CSS, Javascript Any Javascript framework (VueJS, Ember, React, Angular, etc.) Experience with Hashicorp Terraform + Nomad Experience with a cloud provider such as AWS or GC

SOFT SKILLS:

Willingness and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members Accepts and provides feedback constructively Open to discussing different options and accepting of the direction the team as a whole decides to take on a project Continues to build technical skills, apply them to projects, and share them with other developers
