We are actively seeking a driven

Senior Linux System Administrator

to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and operation of our Linux environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage and administer Linux systems effectively. Install and configure new servers in alignment with established standards and operational requirements. Oversee the installation and maintenance of the operating system, including patch management, new installations, and upgrades. Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot the Linux environment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct daily monitoring of hardware, applications, key processes, and scheduled tasks. Maintain daily backup operations following established operational guidelines. Develop and maintain comprehensive installation and configuration procedure documentation. Regularly monitor the security of the Linux environment. Manage user accounts and control access to systems. Preferred Qualifications: Strong understanding of load balancing technologies, server farms, and web services. Familiarity with DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP, and TLS protocols. Hands-on experience with Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, and Ubuntu Linux distributions. Experience with virtualization technologies. Server configuration and automation proficiency with Ansible. Robust scripting abilities in Shell, Python, Perl, PowerShell, or similar languages. Knowledge of the OpenShift Container Platform. Intermediate understanding of Windows Server systems. Experience working with Kafka environments. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years in Linux administration or cloud operations. At least 3 years of scripting experience (Shell, Python, Perl, PowerShell, etc.). Proficient in Linux-based operating system configuration and management. Strong skills in shell scripting, user account management, log analysis, and service configuration. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation. Able to work effectively in both team environments and independently. Benefits: Competitive compensation package.
