Position Overview:
We are hiring a dedicated
Data Analyst
to support metering system data operations. This role is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the integrity of data flowing from advanced metering infrastructure into core systems for billing and other critical functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to system performance and data quality. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the reliability and efficiency of essential services while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor system availability and data quality across advanced metering platforms Ensure databases function properly and data is accurately reported Troubleshoot issues impacting data flow and resolve them promptly Perform daily system performance analyses Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet data delivery timelines Provide insights and support billing accuracy
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience working with data analysis, databases, and system monitoring Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities Excellent attention to detail Effective communicator and team collaborator Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Systems, Engineering, or related field (preferred) Must reside in Alabama ****

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (subject to manager's discretion)
