Körber Technologies, Inc., a leading Sales and Service company supporting the North American tobacco industry, is currently seeking a Technical Advisor to join our team. In this role, the Technical Advisor will be responsible for providing technical clarification on individual quotes and orders related to machinery upgrades, conversions, spare parts, and subunits. Additional responsibilities include the inspection of kits and conversion components, as well as conducting quality audits on machines to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Your role in our team

You will manage technical clarifications for customer inquiries, including quotes and orders related to machine upgrades, conversions, sub-unit modifications, partial overhauls, and new machinery Conduct quality inspections of kits, conversions, and machines to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards Provide technical support to account administrators and collaborate with order processing, purchasing, sales, assembly, and Körber Technologies teams to ensure prompt and accurate resolution of customer inquiries and technically sound order execution You will maintain organized records of all technical clarifications related to inquiries and orders, enabling efficient referencing and documentation Update and maintain historical files and technical documentation for equipment installed at customer sites Perform other duties as assigned Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines. Overtime will be compensated in accordance with company policy and applicable labor laws Your profile

You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field. Equivalent work experience in a mechanical environment or industrial engineering environment may be considered Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a technical support, design, engineering role or prior experience with Körber Technologies products or similar machinery You are proficient in English (oral and written). Proficiency in German is preferred due to the nature of technical documentation and communication with global teams Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Can you find yourself in this profile?
