Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
8+ years experience in Devops administration (Openshift, Jenkins, GIT, Ansible, Nexus). Strong hands-on with OpenShift (3.x/4.x), Kubernetes, and Docker. Expertise in writing and troubleshooting Jenkins Pipelines (Groovy). Good understanding of Git concepts: merges, rebases, hooks, webhooks, and access policies. Experience with Nexus Repository Manager (OSS or Pro). Familiarity with Linux administration, YAML, Helm charts, and basic networking concepts (DNS, TLS, routing). Experience with scripting languages like Shell, Python, or Groovy. Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and logging solutions (ELK, Splunk) is a plus. Roles & Responsibilities
OpenShift Administration:
Manage and support Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) in production and non-production environments. Monitor OpenShift cluster health, scale pods, troubleshoot deployment issues, and manage persistent volumes and secrets. Perform upgrades, patching, and manage custom resources and Operators. Jenkins CI/CD:
Design and maintain complex Jenkins pipelines (scripted and declarative) for application builds and deployments. Integrate Jenkins with Git, Nexus, SonarQube, and other DevOps tools. Manage Jenkins agents, plugins, and security configurations. Git Source Control (GitHub / GitLab): Administer Git repositories including branching strategies, access control, and integration with CI/CD. Collaborate with developers to streamline Git workflows (PRs, merges, branching policies). Nexus Repository Manager:
Manage Nexus 2/3 repositories for Maven, npm, Docker, and other formats. Maintain access control, repository cleanup, and integrate with Jenkins and OpenShift for artifact storage and promotion. Salary Range-$90,000-$130,000 a year
