As a Truck Driver (Warehouse Support) at CompletePet, you will play a vital role in our logistics and warehouse operations by transporting finished goods, raw ingredients, and production components between our two warehouse locations. In addition to driving responsibilities, this position will support general warehouse activities including loading/unloading, inventory handling, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company-owned truck to transport materials between warehouse locations as scheduled.
Load and unload pallets, ingredients, components, and finished products.
Assist warehouse teams with material handling, inventory counts, and receiving/shipping duties.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
Maintain accurate transportation logs and delivery records.
Ensure secure and proper handling of all materials during transport.
Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations.
Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
Support other operational tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid state-issued driver’s license with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or higher.
Clean driving record and adherence to DOT safety and compliance regulations.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial driving or warehouse logistics preferred.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
Comfortable operating a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and varying temperatures.
Must pass a DOT physical exam and pre-employment drug screening.
Work Environment:
Split between truck operation and indoor warehouse environments.
Exposure to industrial noise, equipment, and varying temperatures based on the season and warehouse operations.
