Key Responsibilities
· Application Strategy & Lifecycle Management
o Own and manage the full lifecycle of enterprise applications including planning, implementation, enhancements, and decommissioning.
o Partner with business and IT leadership to define the roadmap and prioritize application-related initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
o Establish governance and controls for application use, integration, and change management.
· Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Alignment
o Act as the primary liaison between business users and IT to gather evolving needs and translate them into scalable, efficient application solutions.
o Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops to identify business process improvements through technology.
o Building strong relationships with department leads, ensuring application solutions meet operational requirements.
· Project Delivery & Enhancement
o Manage the design and delivery of new features, modules, or applications in collaboration with project managers, analysts, developers and vendors.
o Coordinate and lead user acceptance testing (UAT), validation efforts, and post-implementation reviews.
o Oversee project timelines, resource planning, and issue resolution related to application deployments.
· Application Support & Issue Resolution
o Serve as the escalation point for critical application issues; coordinate with support teams and vendors to resolve incidents.
o Maintain high availability, performance, and usability of supported applications through proactive monitoring and upgrades.
o Implement and manage SLAs for application support and ensure adherence to service delivery metrics.
· Data & Integration Oversight
o Ensure seamless integration between applications and upstream/downstream systems, collaborating with BI and data teams as needed.
o Maintain data integrity and accessibility across systems through documentation and integration mapping.
o Ensure applications provide accurate and reliable data outputs for reporting and analytics.
· Documentation & Compliance
o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including workflows, user guides, configuration logs, and change records.
o Ensure applications comply with organizational policies, audit standards, and security requirements.
· Training & Change Management
o Develop training plans and onboarding materials for application users.
o Promote adoption of system enhancements and new tools through change management best practices.
o Provide mentorship to junior team members and functional owners on best practices and process use.
· Vendor & License Management
o Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including software providers, implementation partners, and support teams.
o Oversee licensing, renewals of SLAs and contract terms for assigned applications.
Qualifications & Skills
· 5+ years’ experience in business analysis, application support, or systems implementation.
· Strong knowledge of business process mapping, software implementation cycles, and project management methodologies.
· Experience with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, or custom line-of-business systems).
· Strong leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
· Familiarity with database and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Excel).
· Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects.
· Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
