Description

The HR Coordinator provides vital support to the Human Resources department and plant operations by facilitating HR processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting a safe, productive, and respectful workplace. This role plays a key part in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and maintaining employee records for Carlton Farms.

Requirements

Assist with full-cycle recruitment for plant positions including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Support new hire orientation and ensure proper documentation, including I-9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and personnel files. Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, timekeeping, attendance policies, and general HR inquiries. Coordinate safety training and compliance in collaboration with Safety and Operations teams. Oversee all Workers Comp Claims and EAP Track and administer corrective actions and performance documentation. Serve as back-up receptionist. Answer phones and great guests. Support HR initiatives focused on employee retention, engagement, and communication. Assist with investigations related to employee complaints, harassment, or violations of company policy. Prepare reports related to HR metrics, compliance audits, and headcount tracking. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Provide support for special projects, events, and other HR functions as needed. Translate at safety meetings, employee lunches, meetings etc. as needed. Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 1-3 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems a plus. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Comfortable working in a production environment and wearing required PPE when needed. Working Conditions:

Office-based with frequent interaction on the plant floor. Exposure to refrigerated environments, loud noises, and production equipment Compensation
