Job Duties Under general supervision, provides leadership and supervision for service management and service operation activities for internal and external Olmsted County customers. The IT Manager will lead and manage a team of Application Administrators and Microsoft Exchange Administrators to ensure seamless support and maintenance of critical technology systems. This role serves all key organizational departments with key focus on Public Safety, Finance, Human Resources, driving technological initiatives and ensuring system reliability, security, and efficiency, while maintaining alignment with federal, state and local regulations and policies. IT manager will leverage the strengths of team members, clarifies roles and responsibilities, and develops employees to reach optimal goals. Supports a diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplace.

Minimum Education Required Master's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, business administration or related field and three (3) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions with two (2) of those years in a lead or supervisory role.

OR

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, business administration or related field and four (4) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions with two (2) of those years in a lead or supervisory role.

OR

A combination of education and experience equivalent to eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions with two (2) of those years in a lead or supervisory role.
