We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team in Lake Forest, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the assembly and testing of electro-mechanical systems, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Completing tasks to build from component parts the electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies Completing appropriate paperwork associated with assembly orders Adhering to all company operating procedures and quality requirements Performing surface-mount and through hole soldering on printed circuit boards Trimming, clipping, crimping, and tinning of wires and leads Properly label finished products Fabricate, test and troubleshoot electrical cables, Harnessed and electronic components and assemblies for High Reliability Integration Harness and cable building. Assemble fabrication and inspect complex box builds Integration of electrical and mechanical assemblies Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components, wiring and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies using hand and small power tools Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position, solder and clean prescribed components on printed circuit boards May replace defective components and repair and overhaul older devices. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus. IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 and JSTD-001 Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a similar role. 2-5 years of professional experience working with electronics down to the component level Ability to assemble parts into metal enclosures Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret mechanical work instructions, drawings and schematics. Proficient with hand tools and electronic testing equipment. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should be proficient in: Electrical Schematics Soldering Mechanical Assembly Skills Blueprint Reading Salary info: $20 - $26 / hr
