DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues Provide documentation and technical specifications to Management for planning and implementing new IT infrastructure or upgrades Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts to ensure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance Develop and maintain IT equipment usage policies for guests and team members Provide outstanding guest and team member service while performing the assigned duties, including interpreting and conveying information, answering questions, and assisting guests, vendors, and associates with IT issues and concerns while at OWA Maintain a detailed inventory of all computing equipment and its current availability or status Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in performing all aspects of their assigned responsibilities Provide a variety of accurate and timely reports, logs, and forms, as required by Management Ensure that the workplace remains safe through the training, mentoring, and use of the established policies, procedures, and guidelines Effectively and efficiently work under established time and cost constraints to meet requested deadlines for all computing set-ups, connections, repairs and all other work-related projects Assist in protecting and safeguarding all company assets Perform duties with minimum supervision and make good judgement calls for system issues Other duties and responsibilities as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a high school diploma or GED, or enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older Five (5) years' systems administration technical work experience in a professional/structured paid position with a recognized company Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols Experience with scripting and automation tools Must have and maintain valid state-issued operator driver's license Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus Ability to work well in a team environment Strong written and vocal communication skills
