Lead System Administrator

to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware, software. Additionally, the Lead System Administrator will maintain and administer accounts for the various systems required to perform capability development. This will be accomplished across multiple classified and unclassified enclaves, both on premises and in cloud environments. This position requires full-time onsite work in Fort Meade, MD. Responsibilities: System Administration:

Administer and maintain various systems in support of software development, including operating systems, applications, and cloud services; perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, updates, and patches, to ensure optimal performance and security; troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, including network connectivity problems and system crashes Cloud Environment Support:

Install, configure, and troubleshoot cloud-based services, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS); manage cloud-based resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking; troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, including connectivity problems and resource allocation errors Classified and Unclassified Enclave Support:

Provide technical support services for both classified and unclassified enclaves, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems; performing routine cross-domain data transfers across multiple enclaves IAW local standard operating procedures Account Administration:

Create, modify, and delete user accounts for various systems, including operating systems, applications, and cloud services; manage account permissions, access controls, and security settings to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations; conduct routine audits and reviews of account activity to ensure security and integrity; troubleshoot and resolve account-related issues, including login problems and access denied errors Qualifications: Five (5) or more years of experience supporting the planning, designing, and implementation of on-premises and cloud infrastructures to support mission applications in a DoD setting. Five (5) or more years of system administration experience, working in both unclassified and classified environments Must meet DoDI 8140.03 IT Privileged User qualification and compliance requirements. Experience with cloud computing technologies, such as AWS, GCP, Azure Experience with system administration on Linux and Windows servers. Experience with database administration (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Familiarity with information system security Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with an active Counter Intelligence (CI) Polygraph. This position requires full-time onsite work in Fort Meade, MD. The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $90,000.00 - $120,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
