By fostering lasting relationships with both individuals and corporations, cultivating a sustainable revenue stream critical for the organization's continued success.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Work with the Director of Development & Marketing on fundraising strategies. Design and implement short- and long-term engagement plans geared toward securing major gifts. Develop and maintain a personal portfolio of 25+ major donors and prospects with capacity to make gifts of $10,000+ to achieve increased engagement and revenue. Develop and maintain a portfolio of 15+ corporate and foundation partnerships to drive increased engagement and revenue. Conduct donor and prospect research to identify opportunities. Ensures excellent stewardship of donors through one-on-one meetings, personal contact, written correspondence, recognition, and support in collaboration with the Director of Development & Marketing. Collaborate with the Director of Development & Marketing to grow estate planning program. Assist with grant research as needed. Work in eTapestry to generate reports. Liaison to a County Board. Perform other duties as assigned.Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Knowledge of current and evolving trends in philanthropy. Ability to cultivate, nurture, and maintain robust relationships with positive relationships with donors, community leaders, volunteers, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Well organized, self-starter, and team oriented. Travel within the four-county area as needed.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of five years of fundraising/development experience, ideally in the non-profit sector. Donor Management Software experience preferred, specifically eTapestry. Possess computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
