RN Manager NICU

RN Manager NICU Location: Palm Springs, CA Job Summary: The NICU Nurse Manager holds 24/7 responsibility for daily operations and clinical care standards in the NICU, reporting to the Director of Women, Infants, and Children. Essential Duties: Directs and supervises NICU staff, Clinical Managers, and Resource Nurses. Oversees scheduling, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (Title 22, TJC, CDPH, CCS). Supports Director in goal achievement, policy updates, and performance improvement initiatives. Conducts patient rounding, manages productivity metrics, and maintains timely documentation. Ensures timely evaluations, maintains staff licensure/certification, investigates incidents, and supports operational issues. Collaborates with the NICU Medical Director and Director for continuous improvement and feedback.

Qualifications: Minimum 5 years NICU experience, including 3 years full-time NICU clinical experience. Level I NICU experience BSN required, Master's preferred. Active California RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications. Demonstrated leadership, clinical competence, and professionalism.

Compensation: Salary Range: $142,646 - $176,800 Full-time, comprehensive benefits, possible relocation assistance for ideal candidate.
