We are looking for an

Durable Medical Equipment (DME) - Operational Manager , this role will be critical in ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory compliance within our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) business.

Schedule:

8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday (On-site)

Responsibilities:

Stay updated on all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps.

Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and manage all compliance-related inquiries and audits.

Provide training to staff on compliance policies and regulations.

Identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Monitor industry trends and changes in regulations.

Supervise administrative staff and coordinate daily office operations.

Oversee office logistics, including facilities management, supplies procurement, and equipment maintenance.

Develop and maintain efficient office procedures to optimize productivity.

Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.

Implement technology solutions to streamline office processes.

Manage intake and incoming customer (physician, staff, facility staff, and patients) calls and emails.

Ensure excellent customer service standards.

Pursue new referral sources through outside marketing and generate sales of DME items.

Consistently achieve sales quotas and manage product inventory.

Create marketing promotions and participate in local events.

Manage, train, and cross-train new employees.

Involvement in interview and hiring processes.

Review invoices and maintain financial records.

Verify insurance for DME coverage and prior authorization information.

Qualifications:

MUST HAVE DME EXPERIENCE

In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Proficiency in office software and technology tools.

Certification in healthcare compliance (e.g., CHC, CHPC) is a plus.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) compliance or a similar role.

Previous experience in a compliance role within the healthcare industry, preferably in DME.
