You will install and customize equipment on a variety of new specialty trucks used by utility companies, rail, telecom, infrastructure, forestry services and other specialty equipment operators. Truck / Chassis prep. Attach body to the chassis, crane, welder etc. Attach out-riggers, tool chest etc. Electrical 12 volt wiring etc. / Hydraulics etc. Finals Stage Quality Control Check Duties and Responsibilities:
Building and Customizing aerial, heavy & light duty vehicles with a variety of parts to customer specs. Wiring electrical components to an assortment of vehicles. Plumbing Hydraulics on an assortment of vehicles. Reading and understanding repair orders. Properly allocating time spent on repair orders. Produce a product that are up to CTOS quality standards. Ensure a timely turnaround of vehicles. Communicate between several departments Create a safe working environment. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is required Vocational Technical School / Military Wheeled Mechanic / OJT or related training a plus ASE, Mechanics, Welding certifications are a plus Physical effort to move objects and tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling Ability to use various windows-based computer software.
