Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will serve as a critical link between business operations and technical development, ensuring the seamless implementation of system solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing requirements, leading quality assurance efforts, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability within our policy and claim systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex challenges and thrives in a dynamic environment. Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for both ad hoc requests and large-scale implementations Technical Collaboration: Partner with developers to ensure successful solution delivery and system alignment with business needs. Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead end-to-end testing efforts to ensure system functionality and alignment with requirements. Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve issues related to data, applications, and system functionality. Business Process Improvement: Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance business processes and optimize system performance. Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree Experience:

3-5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role 3+ years of experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance 3+ Years experience with insurance policy admin systems and processes Technical Skills:

Basic Understanding of Systems Architecture Intermediate SQL skills Knowledge of Development Processes Knowledge of version control systems and project management tools Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills:

Experience developing scalable web applications using .NET technologies (VB & C#) Familiarity with configuring and managing insurance policy forms and templates Familiarity with claims systems and associated processes Expertise in Excess and Surplus Insurance Lines Understanding of insurance rating framework and methodologies

Salary Description

$75k-$80K
