The Data Analytics Manager is responsible for overseeing the data analytics team and managing data analytics projects across the Credit Union. This role involves ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data governance policies, as well as providing insights to support decision-making at all levels of the organization. The Data Analytics Manager will work closely with various departments to enhance data-driven decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Lead and manage the data analytics team, including Data Quality Analysts, Enterprise Data Analysts, and Department Data Analysts. Oversee the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence tools and data analytics processes. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the organization. Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures. Collaborate with executives and other business leaders to identify improvement opportunities and provide data-driven insights. Create and present reports for internal teams, external clients, and stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations. Conduct market research and analyze financial trends and forecasts to support strategic planning. Identify and drive process improvements by creating standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards. Mentor and provide guidance to the data analytics team members. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in data analysis and visualization. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization. Manage data analytics projects from inception to delivery, including defining scope, deliverables, requirements, schedules, resources, budget, and success metrics. Provide training on data analytics processes, tools, and techniques. Develop and implement data analytics strategies that enhance business operations. Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for process improvement. Use statistical tools to interpret data sets and prepare reports for senior management. Design and maintain data systems and databases, including fixing coding errors and related problems. Identify trends and patterns in complex data sets, providing insights to help make business decisions. Ensure all data collection methods meet legal regulations and standards. Train and mentor junior staff in data analysis and reporting. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Data Science, or a relevant field, and over +10 years of experience in data analytics or financial analysis within a financial institution. They should possess strong leadership and analytical skills, thorough knowledge of data management, governance, and risk/compliance/audit competencies, and experience working in a regulatory environment. Effective presentation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with robust relationship-building and negotiation abilities, are essential. Proficiency in various software packages, including Microsoft tools, and technical aptitude with SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and data governance tools like Collibra or Purview, is also required. Excellent math skills and computer knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

Physical Requirements:

Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.). Sit for extended periods of time. Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc. Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers. Reach keyboards. Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
