The developer will ensure the integrity, stability, and efficiency of our critical applications, including but not limited to the HealthRules Payer (HRP) claims system and its Java-based integration layer.

With a focus on backend Java applications, AWS cloud services, cloud architecture, and Generative AI technologies, the developer will review existing systems for architectural improvement opportunities, develop new applications and integrations, and provide proactive support.

The developer will leverage expertise across multiple development languages, including Java, Python, C#, and Visual Basic .NET, to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable solutions aligned with healthcare industry best practices, including HIPAA security and compliance standards.

What will you need to succeed:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical discipline. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Java and multi-language application development (including Python, C#, and Visual Basic .NET). Strong experience as a full-stack developer, with proficiency in front-end technologies (AngularJS, Node.js) and backend frameworks (Spring Boot, Apache Camel). Proven expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3) and cloud-native application architecture design and implementation. Strong programming proficiency in Java, Python, C#, and Visual Basic .NET for application development, automation, and integrations. Demonstrated experience with SQL performance tuning, optimization, and complex query development. Solid understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience developing or maintaining Java-based integration platforms utilizing Spring Boot and Apache Camel. Experience working within the healthcare industry, including knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as HIPAA and SOC 2. Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, Agile/Scrum) strongly preferred. Hands-on experience developing, integrating, or deploying Generative AI technologies (such as OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, or other LLM frameworks). Experience using Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies, utilizing tools such as Jira, Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
