As the Enterprise Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the data landscape at our organization. The Enterprise Data Architect is responsible for designing, maintaining, and evolving the enterprise-wide data architecture to ensure data consistency, accessibility, and integrity across the organization. This role bridges the gap between business strategy and technical implementation by creating and enforcing standards for data modeling, governance, and integration. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain enterprise-level conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models. Establish data modeling standards, best practices, and guidelines across business units. Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, data engineers, and analysts to align data structures with strategic objectives. Evaluate and recommend data management technologies and tools. Define and drive data governance initiatives and support master data management (MDM) efforts. Design, develop, and implement accurate, scalable data architectures to support business needs across a myriad of complex systems. Maintain a data catalog and metadata management framework. Act as a thought leader in data architecture, providing guidance on emerging trends and technologies. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum ten years of proven experience in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, or information architecture. Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, Erwin, SAP PowerDesigner). Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK, TOGAF). Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into technical designs. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data and analytics solutions in the supply chain, food service, or manufacturing industry. Experience with AI/ML-driven data architectures. Proficiency in data integration tools and ELT frameworks (Informatica, Talend, etc.). Strong knowledge of database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server). Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (Azure Platform, Snowflake, Cosmos DB, etc.). Physical demands and work environment
