Position: IT Manager
How You Will Make an Impact
Navaide is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Manager to lead our Information Technology department and drive organizational excellence through secure, scalable systems. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our IT infrastructure and serve as a key leader in implementing and maintaining CMMC cybersecurity frameworks. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of our technology environment.
Duties & Responsibilities Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our GCC High IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, systems, mobile devices, and software applications. Lead end-to-end program for achieving and maintaining CMMC level 2 certification, including documentation, evidence collection, internal audits, SSP and POA&M development and coordination with external C3PAOs. Coordinate audit readiness and lead internal mock assessments to ensure on going CMMC and NIST 800-171 compliance. Design and scale IT operations to support the rapid growth of a defense technology firm, ensuring high availability, business continuity, and system scalability. Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for the IT team; oversee staffing, professional development, and workload prioritization to support evolving business and cybersecurity needs. Collaborate with internal teams to assess IT and cybersecurity needs, align technology strategies with business objectives, and identify areas for improvement. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis; develop mitigation strategies and drive corrective actions. Draft and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines that reflect CMMC requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance and provide practical guidance to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes; translate insights into IT strategy and updates. Develop and manage the IT department budget, oversee procurement of complaint systems and tools, and ensure vendor solutions align with cybersecurity incidents and participates in incident response planning. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Relevant Skills & Experience 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT support or systems administration. Hands-on experience with NIST 800-171 and CMMC compliance frameworks. Demonstrated ability to perform risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and compliance gap evaluations. Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity policy development and implementation. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CCSP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate are highly preferred. Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and endpoint management. Familiarity with incident response protocols. Prior experience supporting DoD government contracting firms (preferred).
