About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Project Management to play a pivotal role in the fundraising lifecycle for closed-ended funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively monitoring and adapting the fundraising strategy, leading the Fundraise Management team, and developing and implementing strategies to generate investor interest. This role involves facilitating key decisions with various stakeholder groups, creating and managing marketing materials, and coordinating a range of investor-related events. The Vice President will also be a senior representative in leadership meetings, and will be expected to build, support, and manage the team, as well as collaborate with stakeholders for the development and retention of junior team members. Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in finance, business management, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in fundraising for private fund strategies, particularly closed-ended funds. Experience in infrastructure and/or renewables/transition asset classes is preferred. The role requires strong strategic and product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in investment and financial analysis. Global team management experience, a background in high-volume processes, and a strong understanding of technology-enabled solutions are essential. Institutional fund marketing sales and support experience is also preferred, along with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying and managing risks and will have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
