Production Line Worker - 2nd Shift

Job Summary:
The team member is responsible for performing all duties, including but not limited to wiping trays, styling, handling, and processing chicken products such as placing, moving, and downgrading within the Tray Pack department to fill customer orders. Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are being produced by immediately addressing any safety and/or quality concerns.
Key Responsibilities :
Sorting/Styling - Places product in trays on conveyor belt, removing and downgrading any defective product and place in re-work trays. Follow spec. guidelines on proper orientation, quantity, and placement of product. Look for foreign material. If found, notify the lead/supervisor, immediately stop using the current product/trays and follow QA foreign material guidelines. Wiping - Use assigned paper towels to wipe the edge of trays to ensure no contamination/liquid is on tray seals. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications:
Ability to adhere to Company policies and procedures Perform job duties according to standards set for safety, quality and processing speeds At least 18 years of age Legal authorization to work in the United States Willing to work in a variety of conditions, hot, cold, wet and noisy. Willing and able to work around industrial equipment, stand for several hours, lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds, repetitive use of the arms, wrists and hands. Although typically assigned a single department, production and staffing needs will dictate periodic changes. All applicants must be willing and able to work in other departments and positions as needed and assigned. Education and Experience

Strong work history, demonstrated ability to dedicate to a job Previous poultry production experience OR previous experience in a food manufacturing environment 6-12 months of work history required.
Language Skills :
Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish, such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete checklists.
