ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking experienced professionals to support the development and deployment of a responsive, Azure-based serverless web application for a multi-location retail pilot rollout. This intelligent, real-time platform will feature a personalized recommendation system that leverages multi-modal inputs-such as text, images, and visual data-to enhance user experience. In addition, the application will support patient management workflows, including pre-appointment intake and post-appointment results delivery, providing a seamless and efficient end-to-end experience for both users and providers.

Key Skills & Capabilities

Test Planning & Strategy

Define end-to-end test plans covering authentication, appointment workflows, digital intake, EHR data display, AI recommendations, and promo-banner tracking. Develop test matrices that map requirements to test cases and track coverage ≥ 90 %.

Automation & CI/CD Integration

Build and maintain automated API tests using Postman/Newman or REST-assured for core services, ensuring daily smoke and regression checks. Create end-to-end UI automation (Cypress or Selenium) for key user journeys, targeting 80 %+ script coverage. Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines for Dev, QA, and Pilot environments.

Performance & Load Testing

Simulate concurrent usage patterns (e.g., 100 TPS for booking, 50 TPS for recommendations) across 10 stores using JMeter, Artillery, or Azure Load Testing. Measure and report P95 latency (target ≤ 500 ms for recommendations, ≤ 300 ms for core APIs) and error rates ( Analyze performance bottlenecks and collaborate with DevOps and developers on tuning.

Integration & End-to-End Testing

Validate third-party integrations in sandbox and Pilot environments. Write contract tests for API schemas, response codes, and error scenarios. Perform data-driven tests to verify accurate display and download of clinical documents.

Security & Compliance Validation

Execute basic dynamic application security testing (DAST) scans or scripted edge-case tests to confirm authentication flows and data access controls. Verify encryption-in-transit, proper RBAC enforcement, and compliance-related error states.

Monitoring & Test Reporting

Use Azure Monitor and Application Insights to validate telemetry and custom metrics during test runs. Produce concise test reports and dashboards showing pass rates, defect trends, and performance summaries for Steering Committee reviews.

Required Qualifications

4+ years in QA roles with hands-on experience in test automation and performance testing. Proven ability to design and execute API and UI automation frameworks (Postman/Newman, Cypress/Selenium). Experience with load-testing tools (JMeter, Artillery, or Azure Load Testing) for simulating multi-store traffic. Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD integration of test suites. Strong analytical skills to interpret test results, logs, and telemetry. Excellent communication-able to present findings to technical and executive audiences. Preferred Experience

Prior work in healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA, GDPR). Knowledge of EHR/FHIR integrations and eligibility-check APIs. Familiarity with Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and custom metric dashboards. Experience scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for test automation. ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
