Summary/Objective

We are seeking a seasoned, results-driven sales professional to join our dynamic team! The Area Manager should be highly motivated, well-organized, and a self-starter. This role involves spearheading our portfolio sales and expanding distribution in the designated territory, concentrating on both on and off-premise accounts. The Area Manager will report to the New Jersey Regional Manager to ensure the achievement of milestones and progress according to plans. Responsibilities include implementing and managing the assigned geography in alignment with guidelines from the Regional Manager, contributing to the attainment of set sales objectives. The Area Manager will also participate in sales blitzes, market surveys, and other Freixenet Mionetto USA initiatives outside their geography in support of the Franchise Division.

Essential Functions

Develop relationships with distributor management and sales force assigned to their geography Implement plans in key on and off premise accounts Implement appropriate channel activation plans in key On, Off, National and Regional accounts as needed Work with chain teams during key week selling periods for ads or programs. On & Off Premise :

Work with distributor teams to grow accounts sold, volume, and achieve company plans Conduct on-premise staff training, trade shows, wine dinners, educational seminars Develop and execute market programming Create and track execution of programs Develop and maintain Key Account and Target lists Manage point of sale and marketing materials Assists inventory monitoring and forecasting Conduct sales meetings and training seminars for distributor salespeople Establish and maintain solid relationships with their key accounts and regional accounts Provide daily/weekly/monthly updates to the manager Provide timely and accurate weekly and monthly progress reports against goals Develop positive relationships with other Freixenet Mionetto USA employees in Marketing, Administration, Logistics, Finance and other departments as needed Competencies

BA/BS degree and 3+ years as a salesperson, merchandiser or key premise role, Understanding and ability to improve and to grow sales in all areas of the business Knowledge of territory and Key Accounts within the territory Good knowledge of and passion for the wine category Excellent organizational/project management skills Good communication skills - very articulate with good public speaking ability/experience and excellent written skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, as well as knowledge of iDig and Diver Residency:

To be located in New Jersey (will be covering entire state)

Work Environment

This job operates from Employee's home in a professional office environment as their base, with outside sales as predominant work environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer and mobile phone.
