Position Overview:

A growing infrastructure-focused organization is seeking a Mid-Level Engineer Technician to join a multidisciplinary team supporting a range of engineering and construction projects. This position requires strong technical aptitude and the ability to support field operations, documentation processes, and engineering analysis. The role offers exposure to civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical scopes and is suited for candidates looking to deepen their experience in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance across various engineering disciplines, including support for infrastructure, utility, or energy-related projects. Conduct field inspections, gather data, and assist with quality assurance and compliance activities. Interpret and apply engineering plans, schematics, and specifications during site operations and technical reviews. Support drafting and technical documentation using CAD and other software tools. Assist engineers with calculations, system analysis, and material evaluations. Monitor project milestones, track technical deliverables, and report on potential risks or delays. Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and engineering changes. Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and best practices. Comply with all safety guidelines, site protocols, and internal procedures. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in an engineering technician or field support role. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and construction documentation. Familiarity with CAD software and standard office tools (AutoCAD, MS Office, etc.). Understanding of industry standards related to civil, mechanical, or electrical systems. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in coordination with field teams. Associate degree in Engineering Technology or a related technical discipline preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered. Work Environment: Primarily field-based with occasional office tasks. May involve outdoor work in varying conditions. Travel to job sites within the region may be required. Compensation: Competitive hourly or salaried rate, based on experience. Eligible for standard benefits following probationary period.
