Job Summary
We are seeking an inquisitive, driven, and innovative
Logistics Product Data (LPD) Specialist
to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and integrating advanced logistics data systems, including Teamcenter and S1000D-based content, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across systems engineering, training, digital engineering, and more.
This is a key opportunity to influence how the LPD function supports the U.S. Army and future military sales for the coming decades by contributing to digital integration and logistics support strategies.
Key Responsibilities Develop, administer, and maintain Teamcenter and S1000D content, supportability databases, and batch reports for customer delivery. Monitor, update, and troubleshoot application server patches, database performance, and provide integration recommendations. Design automated application interfaces to reduce user training complexity and duration. Build and maintain databases and applications for supportability metrics and reporting. Analyze and streamline workflow processes to enhance efficiency and achieve supportability goals. Evaluate and implement new support processes through enterprise IT solutions. Support the implementation of ETL processes for improved data documentation. Operate in JIRA or Azure DevOps environments to track and manage development efforts. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, to ensure alignment on operational requirements. Assist with diagnosing and resolving server/system software and hardware issues. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (mandatory) Minimum 3+ years of combined experience in: S1000D Technical Publication Content Teamcenter integration or support
Must be eligible for and able to maintain a
Secret Security Clearance Preferred Skills & Technical Proficiency
Proficient in one or more of the following: Visual Studio (2003/2005/2022, .NET), Python, Jupyter, Java, Visual Basic SQL, Oracle, XML, HTML Microsoft Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power BI, etc.) SLICwave, ETL Tools
Experience with: Windows and/or Unix environments Database architecture, development, and administration Writing server-side or desktop applications/scripts Logistics Support Analysis, Fault Locate Analysis, or graphic development Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) Simulation development (Flash ActionScript, Director, Lingo)
