Heavy Assembler Job Summary: The Heavy Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining large-scale agricultural machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience in assembly processes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Heavy Assembler

Key Responsibilities: Assemble heavy agriculture equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and other farming machinery. Inspect and test equipment to ensure all systems are functioning properly and meet quality standards. Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to guide assembly processes. Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete assembly projects within set timelines. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and best practices. Ensure proper handling of tools and machinery, adhering to safety protocols. Work with parts inventory and report shortages or issues with parts to the supervisor. Other duties as assigned Heavy Assembler

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or (GED or high school equivalence certificate). Technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly or a related field preferred. 1+ years of experience in heavy equipment assembly or a similar mechanical field. Familiarity with agricultural machinery is a plus. Experience with basic hand and power tools is essential. Heavy Assembler

Skills and Abilities:

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools for assembly tasks. Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues effectively. Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance practices. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and tracking of inventory. Ability to work in various temperatures, depending on the outdoor temperature. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and push/pull 75 lbs consistently. Heavy Assembler

Work Environment:

Fast-paced, hands-on assembly environment. Exposure to various machinery, tools, and heavy equipment. Requires standing, bending, lifting, and working in a physically demanding environment. Must be able to work in varying temperature conditions, including outdoor weather. Must follow strict safety protocols to ensure personal and team safety.
