What You Can Expect In This Role
Under general guidance, the Network Engineer maintains, and administers the company's data, voice, and wireless network infrastructure, maintains firewalls, and manages the WAN environment.
What You'll Do In This Role
Troubleshoot voice and data network infrastructure problems and associated component problems including switches, routers, and firewalls. Respond to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network. Maintain the network environment, keeping network information up to date in a network log. Create and maintain network infrastructure diagrams and documentation. Monitor and manage performance and usage of the network environment and other networked resources. Set up and maintain network devices using existing processes and templates. Perform daily operational tasks and system reviews to ensure proper execution of scheduled tasks and timely resolution of issues and requests. Represent Infrastructure and Network Engineering regarding infrastructure needs and impacts for application development projects and business initiatives. Participate in a 24x7 weekly on-call rotation. Commit to and embody Sammons Financial Group Companies' shared values: Accountability, Connection, Openness, Respect, and Integrity. What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree required. Minimum 4 years' experience managing computer networks preferred. Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools preferred. Willingness to work on a geographically dispersed team. Knowledge of network operating systems. Understanding of communication and routing protocols. Coding/script knowledge is a plus. Demonstrated ability to deliver on project and task commitments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, oral communication, and organizational skills.

Salary Range Information
USD $67,633.00 - USD $112,722.00 /Yr. Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience.
