Summary : To complete the assembly of complex automated units composed of many parts on large and complicated equipment. Responsibilities: Assemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and subassemblies Assemble equipment from drawings, specifications, blueprints, and schematics Responsible for testing and inspecting (to print specs) the product before shipment. Able to identify and correct any problems during the testing stage of the equipment. Basic machine shop skills (drill press, grinder, etc.) Machining skills are a plus Requirements: Two-year vocational degree in a related field. 2+ years of experience in assembling automated equipment from prints. Good mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of at least one of the following areas: mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic subassemblies Must be self-motivated and very detail-oriented. Must have a positive attitude and be able to work closely in a team environment.
