Machine Builder - Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Machine Builder
to assemble, integrate, and test automated equipment. This role involves working closely with engineers, electricians, and other builders to ensure machines are built to specification with precision and efficiency. Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical background, attention to detail, and experience in automation systems.
Top Responsibilities Independently assemble complex machinery, including electrical and hydraulic components. Use precision tools to ensure accurate assembly to tight tolerances. Identify and resolve issues during the build process. Conduct detailed inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain clear records of builds, changes, and improvements. Additional Duties Assemble mechanical subassemblies per engineering drawings and schematics. Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times. Collaborate with engineers and senior builders to meet project deadlines. Install pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems into machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical and minor electrical issues during assembly. Assist in testing and debugging systems to verify proper operation. Qualifications 2+ years' experience in machine building or mechanical assembly. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred. Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings. Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Willing to travel for machine installations (domestic and international).
