to join a major utilities organization in Raleigh, NC. This hybrid role is ideal for a
seasoned project manager with 9+ years of experience
who thrives in managing complex projects across all stages of the development lifecycle. This is a long-term opportunity to contribute to impactful utility projects, working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality products for execution while ensuring safety, compliance, and excellence. Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 9 years of project management experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university. Proficiency in project management principles. Competent in MS Office tools. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Ability to perform one to two site visits per year (personal vehicle required). Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Master's degree in business, project management, or related field (MBA preferred). Utility technical certifications/training. PMP or CAPM Certification. CMII/Construction Certifications. Professional Engineer License. Proficiency in project scheduling and cost controls. Experience in the utility industry and construction management. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of utility projects across various stages of the development lifecycle. Ensure project success factors including scope, cost, schedule, compliance, environmental, safety, communications, security, and quality. Collaborate effectively with all project stakeholders to develop high-quality products for hand-off to execution teams. Lead effective meetings with clear objectives and drive agendas to completion. Apply business processes such as budgeting, funding, risk management, and compliance. Manage multiple Green I or Green II projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence guidelines.
