We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to focus on project documentation and provide business analysis support for various data and analytics initiatives. The successful candidate will engage with business users to gather, document, and analyze current and future processes (As-Is and To-Be), while also identifying application dependencies and offering improvement recommendations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Support project managers by clarifying user experience information. Create change tickets to support modifications, ensuring that all necessary personnel complete required changes. Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure comprehensive, accurate business analysis documentation. Manage and maintain a project backlog in an Agile framework. Analyze, review, and document the existing structure and use cases of applications or processes, including current application dependencies. Communicate effectively with the team, providing regular updates to project management. Develop process flow diagrams and other written documentation to accurately reflect business processes. Aid business clients in developing and refining requirements for future use cases. Assist in ensuring timely delivery of current project deliverables and step in where needed. Manage change requests from inception to completion, tracking tasks until resolution. Gather and document requirements through effective elicitation techniques. Identify and document issues within client systems or processes and provide recommendations for greater efficiency. Create process flow diagrams as required. Build a comprehensive understanding of business operations and processes. Continuously document, review, and update business process requirements based on client feedback. Develop and update existing training materials and requirements documentation as necessary. Ensure appropriate quality controls, including security requirements and effective business solutions. Act as a liaison between clients and project teams to enhance user interaction. Monitor and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. A passionate and energetic individual who is solution-oriented and detail-focused. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, along with an increasing level of responsibility as a Business Analyst. Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation. Experience generating business analysis deliverables including requirements documents, process diagrams, use cases, traceability matrices, and business rules. Ability to listen to clients, understand their processes, and identify their needs, with experience in process design/documentation. Proficient in using Visio or similar process mapping tools. Good command of documentation best practices, including version control and requirement identification. Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision, managing workload and priorities effectively. Experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Proven ability to lead tasks to successful completion. Background in working with cross-functional teams within a matrixed project environment. IIBA certification is a plus. A willingness to learn and share knowledge, being resourceful and proactive. Experience in third-party implementations is preferred. Strong analytical skills for compiling, structuring, examining, and presenting large datasets effectively.
