Assembler - Hand Solder

Moorpark, CA Pay:
$18 - $21/hr (DOE) Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
A busy and growing electronics manufacturing company in Moorpark is looking for an experienced Hand Solder Assembler to join their production team. This role focuses on high-quality assembly and rework of printed circuit boards (PCBAs) using both SMT and thru-hole components.
Key Responsibilities:
Hand solder SMT and through-hole components on PCBs Perform rework and install fine-pitch components under a microscope Read and follow Bill of Materials (BOM) and Assembly Drawings Solder to both RoHS and Non-RoHS standards Perform solder touch-ups and ensure quality standards are met Follow ISO and ESD procedures Work with IPC-610 and IPC-7711 standards Use hot air rework stations and other tools as needed Maintain clean, organized workspace and follow traveler instructions Report any issues clearly in English
Requirements:
2+ years of experience soldering PCBAs in a manufacturing environment Hands-on knowledge of IPC-610 and IPC-7711 standards Ability to read and speak English fluently Comfortable working under magnification High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift 25 lbs and use both hands safely and effectively
