We're hiring many Electronic Rework Technicians to work in Arlington, TX.
The Electronic Rework Technician is responsible for repairing, modifying, and reworking printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies to meet quality and engineering standards. This includes removing and replacing components, correcting defects, and ensuring functionality and compliance with IPC standards.
Job Duties
Perform rework and repair of PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies), including SMT and through-hole components.
Remove and replace components using soldering/desoldering tools (hot air rework stations, soldering irons, etc.).
Inspect and identify defects such as cold solder joints, bridging, lifted pads, and damaged components.
Interpret rework instructions, engineering change orders (ECOs), and blueprints.
Maintain accurate records of rework performed and update documentation accordingly.
Work with quality and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Follow ESD, safety, and cleanroom protocols at all times.
Operate microscopes and magnifiers for precision rework tasks.
Ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 rework standards.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification .
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in electronics rework or PCB assembly.
Strong soldering skills and proficiency with rework equipment.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and assembly drawings.
IPC-610 and/or IPC-7711/7721 certification is a plus.
Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with documentation systems.
Work Schedules
A Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
B Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
C Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
