KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Set up CNC lathes and mills for new operationsEnsures operation of CNC machines and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on machining lathes and mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctionsMechanic skills include, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repairLocates root cause of problems by using sound troubleshooting methods to ensure that permanent repairs can be made to minimize costly downtimeInstall, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of machine control components including, but not limited to; motor drives, controllers, sensors, switches, breakers, overloads, power supplies, etcInstall, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of power transmission components including, but not limited to; drives, bearings, gears, belts, chains, sprockets, etcInstall, service, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems including, but not limited to: tanks, pumps, valves, piping, cylinders, and controlsProvide proper record keeping, documentation, and information for, but not limited to Machine files, repair filesComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasRead and interpret blueprints, technical parts manuals such as electrical and mechanical diagrams, gages, meters, calipers and other measuring toolsUse all required hand and power tools including, but not limited to: drill, saw, torch, and jacks, as well as ladders, cranes, fork lift, and other maintenance equipmentThis position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing during shiftJob Type: Full-timeBenefits: 401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceEDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:Associates degree in electronics or substantial work toward completion of electrical or electronic degree, preferredMust have a minimum 10+ years' experience in industrial electrical/electronic maintenanceStrong working knowledge of SAPMust be proficient in Microsoft ApplicationsCRITICAL COMPETENCIES & CAPABILITIES:TeamworkAdaptabilityAccountabilityReliability/dependabilityInitiativeSafety awarenessAbility to receive and provide constructive feedbackPride in performanceContinuous Improvement/QualityCommunicationPositive responses to changeHigh attention to detailShift and weekend premiumsPaid leave benefits401(k) company matchMedical, dental, visionProfessional growth opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
