Trillium Construction is seekign QC Inspectors in Baton Rouge, LA.
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all pre-cast concrete products meet specified quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role involves conducting inspections, performing tests and documenting results throughout the production process.
Duties: • Conduct regular inspections of pre-cast concrete setup or products during production to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards; compare to respective drawings to verify accuracy. • Inspect raw materials for compliance with project requirements. • Use of computer tablets and software for completion of checklists and reporting of pre-pour and post pour inspections. • Perform concrete tests, including slump, compressive strength, and air content, according to ASTM and other relevant standards. • Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints. • Maintain accurate & organized records of inspections, tests and non-conformance reports. • Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations for improvements and communicate any discrepancies or issues with setup or product to the appropriate parties for correction. • Cross train between pre-pour and post-pour inspection; communicate with supervisor & team members to see where others may need help. • Work closely with production staff to ensure quality control procedures are followed. • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations regarding concrete production. • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices. • Assist in training new staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Pay: $30+/hr (depending on experience). Schedule: Monday-Saturday 60 hours a week.
