Job Summary: Responsible for the management and supervision of department team members. Process supervision and technological guidance to tackle key problems in production. Develop teams to consistantly achieve organizational KPI objectives and continuous improvement targets. III. Job Functions and Duties NO.Representative Duties1Monitoring and enforcement of organizational safety practices and processes, ensuring team and departmental compliance2Conduct pre-shift planning per production schedule and provide pre-shift meeting to production team3Responsible for the availability and upkeep of controled measurement tools/gages4Ensure process compliance, labor discipline, product quality, and safety compliance through on-site management 5Discovery, root cause, and countermeasure implimentation of both internal and external product quality abnormalities6Completion of process, product, safety audits at perscribed frequency7Organize and completion of "Select position" knowledge and skills training for department team members8Monitor and management of performance indicators respective to assigned workshop, providing solutions for continuous improvement9Seek out external resources that support production efficiency improvements10Overall responsible for implementation of assigned workshop hygiene and 5S to ensure safety and efficiency11Planning and execution of production equipment TPM with coordination of mainteance and planning departments12Management of team timecards/payroll, including documentation of work hours and allocation of production incentives13Support new hire training as well as continued skills development of all staff14Responsible for organizing analysis and improvement of difficult problems or abnormalities, tracking the performance and providing feedback 15Responsible for organizing statistical analysis and developing improvement measures and tracking performance in case of indicator abnormalities in production16Responsible for the review and auditing of daily production data, ensuring accuracy and authenticity 17Fulfill shift supervisor duties as required for absences18Other duties as assigned19Nothing in the Position Description restricts management's right to assign or re-assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any timeIV. QualificationJob RequirementsLanguageLanguages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin. - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.Experience1 year manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. EducationHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Physical ConditionThe employee is regularly required o stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip) Visual acuity including, but not limited to: a. NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded. b. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions. c. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are. d. COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors. e. FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots.
