Quality Control Inspector
for a Cable manufacturing company in Milton, FL.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are an ISO-9001 Certified OEM manufacturer and we are looking for a knowledgeable
Quality Control Inspector.
The selected individual will be part of a growing, fast paced global manufacturer and will report to the Quality Assurance Manager. The
Quality Control Inspector
will perform daily inspection of ALL incoming materials, in-process materials, and final assembly materials and then complete all necessary reports.
COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:
- Must be able to read basic electrical drawings/or assembly drawings.
- Must be able to use a variety of measurement equipment such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and micrometers (in both Metric and Standard units of measure).
- Must have previous
ISO-9001
or comparable QMS experience.
- Must have better than average computer skills.
- Previous experience w/ wire, cable, wire harnesses, elec. assembly/testing
is preferred
but NOT required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform incoming inspection on specific products identified by management as critical.
- Perform daily in-process inspection.
- Perform basic lab tests on random samples of incoming materials for lab testing as required by management.
- Perform daily finished goods inspection
- Perform equipment calibrations as required.
- Complete all documentation as it relates to the daily inspection process or lab test.
- Assist in the processing of Returned Goods for the field and issue appropriate reports.
- Other duties as deemed appropriate by management.
EXPERIENCE: - MINIMUM of 1 year experience with reading/interpreting basic electrical assembly drawings. - MINIMUM of 1 year experience working with computers AND proficient with Microsoft Office programs - At least 1-Year of Quality Control experience is preferred but
NOT required.
EDUCATION: High school Diploma (or equivalent) is
required.
PAY: $15/hr. --- $18/hr. (Depending On Experience)
SCHEDULE: Full-Time ---
All shifts are 12-hr's
--- Day & Night shifts are available Day Shift = 7:30am - 7:30pm Night Shift = 7:30pm - 7:30am
REQUIREMENTS: - Must pass a pre-employment background check. - Must be able to pass a drug test. - Must have Steel-toed boots. - Must have RELIABLE transportation to Milton FL.
