Position Summary: We're seeking a hands-on
Contract Quality Inspector
to ensure the quality of robotic systems and components at our Plant City, FL facility. This role is key to validating product integrity through inspections of cable assemblies, mechanical parts, and electronic components. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in electronics or automation manufacturing and be comfortable using inspection tools, reviewing mechanical drawings, and documenting quality findings.
Core Responsibilities: Perform visual/mechanical inspections of robotic assemblies and subcomponents. Conduct Board of Test (BOT) inspections (training provided). Execute incoming part inspections (mechanical, electrical, cables). Follow SOPs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Document inspection results using Microsoft Office tools. Interpret mechanical and technical drawings to confirm compliance. Required Experience:
Cable and electronic assembly inspection Incoming inspection processes Reading mechanical/technical drawings Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook proficiency Preferred:
Robotics, automation, or electronics manufacturing experience IPC/ISO 9001 knowledge Familiarity with calipers, multimeters, and other inspection tools
