We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Data and Information Specialist
to manage and enhance our organization's core constituent information system. This critical role is centered on ensuring the ongoing maintenance, accuracy, and strategic utilization of all stored information. Responsibilities : System Maintenance & Data Integrity:
Perform high-volume
data recording
and record updates, processing daily inputs from external partners and integrating information from external lists to reflect changes in constituent details. Execute large-scale data updates, particularly following major mailings or similar organizational initiatives. (Previous role averaged 1,000 record changes/month.) Assume primary responsibility for data quality, cleanliness, and integrity within the information system. Data Extraction & Reporting: Develop and generate detailed reports, including the creation of custom reports to meet specific analytical requirements. Prepare and export data for external analysis, often requiring the manipulation and transfer of datasets to spreadsheet formats for further processing. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the information system's underlying structure to facilitate efficient and accurate data retrieval. System Optimization & Analytical Support: Leverage advancements in the information system to support evolving analytical functions. Collaborate on initiatives to identify patterns in constituent engagement, analyze donor behavior, and assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts. Contribute to data-driven strategic decision-making and the measurement of various initiative outcomes. Qualifications :
Demonstrated practical skills in utilizing information systems, including experience with retrieving specific data sets. Strong comfort level with data manipulation and analysis. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of data-related tasks. Familiarity with data quality best practices.
