Job Description
This Mechanical Engineer/Manager will:
Lead and prioritize the work of the mechanical engineering team. Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications. Design and develop new products from concept through prototype and validation. Create and manage BOMs, technical drawings, and documentation using 3D CAD tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and testing. Support project planning, design reviews, and mentoring of junior engineers. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer requirements. Provide technical input on customer programs and support pre-sales engineering efforts. The Successful Applicant
A successful Mechanical Engineer/Manager should have:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 7+ years in mechanical design, ideally in commercial or defense sectors. Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD LT). Experience in product development from concept to prototype and testing. Knowledge of metals, plating, and mechanical testing. Familiarity with technical drawings, BOMs, and documentation. Leadership experience (2 - 3 years preferred). Strong communication and teamwork skills. What's on Offer
