Selectek is looking for a Quality Inspector in the Springfield, MA area.
Job Description:
Review of customer drawings and specifications. Determination of necessary inspection points. Documentation of necessary inspection and test instructions and changes thereto. Maintenance of adequate quality assurance records. Review of quality assurance and corrective action follow-up. Original and continuing periodic inspection of special and standard gages, test equipment, and tooling used to manufacture product. Assuring inspection and test equipment remain calibrated within established time.
Required:
U.S. Citizen 4+ years Quality Inspection experience in a machine shop environment. Quality Inspection background with a variety of materials such as: sheet metal, aluminum, stainless steel and/or polymers. Experience preparing & reading Inspection Reports for quality, measurements, calibration and other technical documentation. Ability to read blueprint drawings. Experience with measurement tools (Micrometers, Gages, etc.). Understanding of geometric tolerancing (GD&T). First Piece and Final Parts Inspecting experience.

Sponsorship: U.S. Citizenship Required Pay range: $25/hour - $29/hour ($52,000 - $62,000 annual salary) Term of assignment: 4 months temp to direct Pay method when direct: Hourly; eligible for OT - typically 50-hour work weeks when direct Location of job: West Springfield, MA Hours and shift: 1st Shift Monday – Friday, 7:00AM-3:00PM OR 8AM-4PM Overtime expected: Not likely during the contract period but will go to 10 hours once converted.
