PeopleSoft Financials Developer
to join their team.
Position Summary
The PeopleSoft Financials Developer will be responsible for the technical development, customization, and ongoing support of our PeopleSoft Financials applications. This role will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to enhance system performance, deliver functional upgrades, and ensure seamless integration with internal platforms.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions in PeopleSoft Financials (v9.2 preferred). Customize PeopleSoft modules including GL, AP, AR, AM, Purchasing, and eProcurement as needed. Build and maintain application engine programs, PeopleCode, SQRs, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker services. Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Provide production support, including troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning. Support upgrade projects, patch implementations, and system migrations. Ensure security, compliance, and data integrity across financial systems. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, customizations, and procedures. Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teams as needed. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials development. Strong technical expertise in PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, Component Interface, and XML Publisher. Experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials 9.x, ideally 9.2. Familiarity with Oracle databases, SQL, and performance tuning. Solid understanding of financial processes and controls in a corporate or private equity environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Functional Skills
Must understand GAAP accounting Must have multi-currency/Multi-book experience Consolidation and expert (Tree changes and impact on entity ownership) Modules - GL, AP, AM, CM and AR. Light Project management skills
