Overview TalentFish is casting a line for an

IT Auditor ! This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Rosemont, IL with occasional travel to locations both inside and outside the Rosemont area with our premier client!

In this position, you will report administratively to an IT Audit Manager and functionally to an audit engagement supervisor (i.e., Senior Auditor or Audit Officer). You'll collaborate closely with audit team members, internal audit clients, risk management and compliance functions, and occasionally external parties.

What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in

Information Systems ,

Accounting Systems ,

Accounting ,

Business Administration , or a related field. 1-3 years of relevant audit experience in

public accounting

and/or

internal audit . Strong applied knowledge of:

Accounting concepts Audit methodologies Risk-based auditing techniques The IIA's International Professional Practices Framework Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 COBIT U.S. GAAP

Experience or strong interest in

technology ,

cybersecurity , and

digital concepts . Familiarity with

computer-assisted audit tools

(e.g.,

ACL ,

IDEA ) and

audit management software

(e.g.,

TeamMate ) is preferred. Professional certifications highly preferred:

CPA ,

CIA ,

CISA , or

CISSP. What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)

Participate in the successful and timely completion of assigned engagement deliverables. Attend audit planning and client kick-off meetings; draft and maintain detailed meeting minutes. Review prior year audit work papers and relevant documentation to inform audit activities. Participate in business process walkthroughs with key stakeholders; develop narratives and draw conclusions. Complete assigned audit areas with supporting documentation and work papers. Identify irregularities, discrepancies, or deviations from procedures and ensure findings are supported by documented evidence. Maintain timely and clear communication with the audit team and audit clients. Keep engagement supervisor and stakeholders informed of progress. Foster positive working relationships with audit team members, internal clients, and across the organization Compensation Information The expected salary range for this position is $59,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
